Underwater photographyI love the marine world and I'm a keen scuba diver that loves taking underwater photography. I have been all over the pacific diving in places like New Guinea, Kavieng, Vanuatu, Solomons, Fiji, Tonga, The Maldives, Cocos Island, Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea. As well as Australia's east coast and Lord Howe Island.  Nikki Grahame has been one of the most interesting figures of reality TV in the last decade since appearing on the UK Big Brother in 2006. Since then she has been a regular fixture in the media in the UK, both as a columnist and as the star of her own show Princess Nikki. However, what many do not know is that, she has been struggling with the potentially fatal disease of anorexia.
In fact, Nikki's childhood was spent in and out of hospitals as she struggled from an early age to overcome her disease. Not only was this an obvious struggle for her, but also on her family, as her parents and sister cracked under the strain of supporting her with nearly tragic consequences.
In her new book, Fragile, Nikki Grahame talks candidly of her childhood, rise to fame and the pressures that brought with it. And while her personal struggle is still ongoing, Nikki has been trying to raise awareness for this disease, both in her column and in this book, in the hope that she can help fellow sufferers.

Nikki is also heavily involved with a body confidence organisation Body Gossip helping young people to become more confident within themselves. Nikki is part of a celebrity cast which reads stories in live shows and events written by people that have suffered through their eating disorders or body confidence issues. Body Gossip was featured in the TV show The Gok's Teens: The Naked Truth with Gok Wan in the UK. |
